Default Compass Not Working

The compass on my '02 LT TB is not working. When I'm driving north it states I'm going south, when I'm headed west it says I'm going south-west.
And when I'm going south it says I'm going north.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

[ol]1. Press and hold the on/off button for six seconds. Release the button when ZONE is displayed. The number shown is the current zone number.
[/ol]
[ol]2. Scroll through the zone numbers that appear in the compass/temperature window on the mirror by pressing the on/off button. Once you find your zone number, release the button. After about four seconds, the mirror will return to the compass display, and the new zone number will be set.Your are in Zone #7

Thanks guys for your help. I guess if I would have read my manual in the first place I wouldn't have had to ask! I drove around in a circle in the parking lot @ 5 mph to re-calibrate my compass - worked like a champ.

Next task...get my outside temp. reading off of 50 degrees. Is that in the manual too?
