I hope someone can help. The battery light in my 04 Trailblazer stays on all the time. It is very dim and even stay on while the ignition is off. Volt meter seems to read ok, with and without the motor running. Thanks for your time.

 

I have the exact same thing going on with my 04 Trailblazer. I'm wondering if it might just be an instrument panel problem. My tachometer gave some bad readings a few weeks back, but that seems to have cured itself now.

 

Since my original post, the light has gone off, not to come back on again. But I feel the same way, that it maybe a cluster problem. I had it replaced under warranty a little over a year ago because of a tach problem. I hope it does not come back.
