Front Blower Not Working Help Please!
2004 Chevy Trailblazer LT, 90K miles. No air, either hot or cold, will blow out of the front blower, though it comes out fine through the defrost & floor vents. I was told this may be a result of a blend door problem. Anyone have suggestions and/or a how-to on fixing this problem?
Apparently the Chevy blend door (air door) is a common failure item. You can replace it for around $40. It does sound like that might be your problem. It should route the air to different places, and it's not doing that.
It's not a hard job, but it is very time consuming and cumbersome. You have to take out the glove box, dash panel, computer, and some other stuff to get to it. It's inside that black plastic box...which I'm still trying to figure out where that last bolt is!!

I'm having the same issue, and can not take the dashboard apart, I can only take the front board to get to radio or speedometer, but the top.. not yet been able to dismount
If anyone know please help. I even tried to check on you tube and no luck...
