Default heloo, do u have a solution

heloo friends,I m new to this forum,i have trail blazer 2004. recently there has come a problem, in the morning when i start the vehicle engine oil guage needle raises up to the mid and after few minutes again comes to zero. engine oil signe on board lits up, the needle flickers and if i press accelator it again comes to mid point. this only happens in the morining or if the vehicle remains parked for six or more hours. can any one tell me what is this and what is the solution.

it could be you have a bad sensor...
But most likely- you have a bad stepper motor in the gauge cluster...

go over to www.trailvoy.com

several members have replaced stepper motors there- and have done a HOW TO with pictures.

you may want to post the problem there too - maybe someone there has had the problem on their trailblazer/ Envoy.

I know theres a member there having trouble with his fuel gauge.
he just replaced his fuel pump and level sender... but the gauge still acts funny.
He is now going to replace the stepper motor ($10 or so each from some guy on ebay).
