Parasitic Drain
I'm not sure if this is part of the issue of warning lights not going out when engine starts or a whole other issue. My I have a parasitic drain somewhere that completely drains my brand new car battery down in a day to day and a half. Where do I start looking??
Are you sure it is not a defective battery?
I recently responded to a lady on another forum with a similar problem. It turned out her brand new battery had a defective cell in it. Get your battery load tested and make sure your alternator is properly charging it. If there is too much AC ripple voltage on the output from the alternator, then the battery will not charge properly.
