reduced engine power 04 trailblazer
Good afternoon. Well.... my niece has an 04 trailblazer with 4.2 A rat decided to take up residence and chewed through the wires for the coil pack harness.. Chewed on BOTH sides of the connector near the firewall so I had to cut and splice a piece in I got from junkyard. Car starts but check engine light and reduced engine power light now. Got codes for all 6 coil packs. After some time I decided to clear codes to see what happens and the RPM's increased but as soon as I touch the gas it goes back into "safe mode" ANY and all help/suggestions would be appreciated.
