Default Seat belt drivers side not working as it's needed for a safety

Hello all well I have a problem and it's been about 2 cluster panels and as far as taking the seat apart and still nothing took it to chevy they tell it's the cluster board panel so for 700 bucks they will install new one and it should work so I said no way so I search around for one found one that all lights in the panel turned on well sure enough had same problem no seat belt light turned on again lost for what the hell it is I search around at fuses and wiring seems to me everything looks ok but honestly I can't understand why it or where to look as I think I check everything just don't get it a d can't go d the problem as wires are find and tested each one for power and honestly if anything sensor for the seat chevy would've been able to see that on there computer test that cost me 200 bucks telling them it's the cluster panel as I did that and it didn't work so I need help here with it as I'm truly lost with this puzzling trailblazer as one thing not to work is the seat belt light only thing stopping it from passing a safety

Dave, it isn't good enough to just check the wires visually. You need to test for continuity. Get yourself a digital volt meter. There is a switch in the female end of the sit belt buckle. Find the plug and disconnect it. Connect the meter and then connect the seat belt. if the switch is good it the meter should read zero ohms.

If the switch is good, then look at the wires.
