Service Engine Soon PO442
The dealer cannot find the problem with "Service Engine Soon."It has been there twice and of course, they charged us twice. It has now come on for a third time. I have swapped out the gas cap to no avail. Any thoughts?
I understand that the PO442 is a Service Engine Error code can be caused by one of the following:
1. Defective or loose fuel cap
2. EVAP canister or hose cracked- not connected
3. Purge or vent solenoid defective
4. Vaccum leak at engine
