slip light and brake light on
Hi guys
I have a 2007 chevy trailblazer and we had alot of snow and below 0 temps last night. Now the slip light and brake light are on. The emergency brake isn't stuck and seems to drive fine. Any suggestions?
Thanks

by slip light do you mean stability control light?
if the read brake warning light is on, check the brake fluid level.
If its low, either the pads are worn out or the system has a fluid leak.

I added brake fluid and the dash lights are gone. Car drove fine all day. Checked for leaks and didnt see any. Does brake fluid normally burn off or become low? Or do I have a definite leak somewhere?

why would you add fluid when you said releasing the ebrake turned off the warning light?
brake fluid should never need to be topped up. its designed to be at the full level when all the brake linings are new. When the linings wear out the fluid will be low enough to turn on the brake warning light.
adding fluid will not fix a tcs or abs warning light issue. the light will return when the fault is active.

everything you say in one post contradicts what you say in the next one. Your on your own.

your first post you say the e-brake isn't stuck on... the next post you say you released the brake and the light went off...read your own post right!
you were driving with the ebrake on and it turned on all the other warning light. Genius!
