Trailblazer 3rd Row seatbelts
I have a 2003 Trailblazer EXT with the 3rd row seating. During the course of my loading many things into the back and constantly lowering and raising the 3rd row seats, I have broken the receiving end of the right side seat belt buckle and the assembly parts went flying. I've taken a look at the unit and I see that the buckle itself is not bolted to the seat or the floor but is a permanent part of the seat back assembly. Before I head off the dealer, I wanted some opinions alternate options to replace the broken assembly.I can't find anything under the various dealer parts sites and I would hate to think that I will end up having to replace the entire back seat. I fear this will not be a simple fix even from used parts.

third row seat belts
i have the same problem. i think a generic belt of the same size might suffice. as these cars are getting older, pulling the part might be good.
everyone wants to sell you the entire seat with the buckle. what are they trying to do...make money ?
this is a big problem for safety. I just have the kids sit in different places, for now.
BAD DESIGN GM !

Lift and pull forward from the hand grip on the bottom of the seat at the front it will rotate forward to the middle row then the back just folds flat no release or tabs to pull...

Third Row Seatbelts...
I have a 05' Tahoe, and my third row center seatbelt (male end) came apart, and the plastic housing is fubar. I had to go to my local dealership anyway and they said they can replace the belt for $145, without replacing the entire seat. After tax return I guess... it is overpriced yes, but as the seatbelt originates inside the seat assembly I have no other choice- I agree- poor planning GM.

How do you replace the 3rd row seat buckle end for the seat belt in a 2003 Trailblazer. I can't even find the part on the internet.
There is a nut that bolts it and the seat to the floor but when the nut is removed the buckle end is loose but will not come off.
Thanks for any help with this.
