just thought guys, Since GM has discontinued this part several years ago for the V8 version and they are getting Extremely difficult to find for replacing them, I just was thinking and maybe it has already been tried, but has anyone ever tried to take a 6 cyl on and remove all the fuses and relays and installing the requred fuses and relays in the V8 Configuration to see if it would work? Now again another thought, over the years GM has used different parts, containing the components for all of said vehicles I E Wiring harnesses instrument clusters , and different things for the same body style so as to save money not having to build multiple versions of the same part, so im wondering if the base unit without the fuses and relays as it came from GM's parts would be the same/ again just wondering if it has been tried, Thanks again for reading, Take Care all
