2009 chevy traverse will not start
Hi everyone I am new to this forum.
I have a 2009 chevy Traverse LT with 100,700 miles on it. Since I got it have sent it to the dealership to replace the timing belt and ignition coil misfires, replace the catalytic converter twice.
Two weeks ago my wife the driving and smell burnt plastic coming from the engine so she parked it. When I Checked the engine for codes it had P0496, P0303, and P0353. So I check the ignition coils and one was badly burnt, so I replaced it. Once I replace it, it did not start any more. I checked for more codes and found P167d code, the ECM was not working. I had that replaced and reprogrammed/re calibrated but the car still does not turn on.
I removed all the ignition coils and spark plugs and found they were covered in engine oil. I replaced the spark plugs, but still the engine did not start, the alternator, battery, wiring all are working. Need some help.
