Turning into a parking space for a hard right going 1 MPH, I heard a clunking noise from the left wheel. Started driving out of the lot and heard similar noise on a hard left turn. The engine light came on. Drove home and checked the power steering and it was not low. No loose tie rods. Reset the engine light, and tested the steering, and no clunking noises when I repeated the turns in my cul de sac!!!! 119K miles
Any ideas why all of a sudden there were clunking noises on a hard steer left or right?
