2014 chevy traverse problems
I have a 2014 traverse and I’m having issues that apparently a lot of people have been having but all Chevy dealers says they’ve never had anyone with this problem! Very unbelievable. Anyway, I try to unlock it with fob and door, neither work! The rear wiper comes on when I try to unlock it and even when I’m driving ( without being turned on). I thought the problem was when it was hot outside but today it’s very cool outside and it has acted up all day long. Chevy needs to do a recall and fix this issue. I have read to many having this problem for no one to know about it. I still haven’t been able to find out what’s causing the issue , hoping to get some help here. If someone can help my husband and I would much appreciate it!
This may not help you very much, but may provide some direction.
A good part of the time when a component can't complete a circuit to ground it will use another component to secure that needed path.
In this instance the rear wiper is providing the path and operating . There is a good possibility of a poor ground connection for the door locking system OR a malfunctioning BCM (Body Control Module).
