Default 2014 Traverse Running Hot

Hello Everyone and thank you in advance for your thoughts,
I have a 2014 LT AWD w/110,000 miles that seems to run hot. It usually happens only in situations where I am going uphill or the engine is under strain. It never overheats, it just ticks up to about 225 degrees then back down again when on flat ground. I opened the radiator cap and found I was able to "burp" the radiator and add about a quart of fluids.
However, after adding coolant, the issue is still present. Oil is NOT milky, and NO other sign of coolant leak.
Coolant is old, needs a flush, but I somewhat doubt that is the cause. (I did however add coolant to my suspect list as it is a potential culprit)

Things I have checked:
Coolant seems to swirl slowly in radiator neck
Coolant level is ok
Radiator fan seems to be working, (Comes on when I park the car and turn off ignition while It is still hot)

My Suspects:
Thermostat
Water Pump
Bad Coolant
Serpentine belt?

Any thoughts?

fan operation is irrelevant after your reach highway speed.
a quart of fluid is significant....is the waterpump leaking?
i would have the system pressure checked for leaks. if none; start with thermostat replacement and back flush the rad while the system is open.

I just checked again and I noticed that the swirling of fluid in the Rad neck seems to be unreliable, I am wondering if perhaps it is a partially sticking Thermostat? I have not noticed any leaks at the water pump though it could be a very slow leak possibly. I am tempted to replace stat, water pump and serp belt all in one go and see if that fixes the issue. I am currently out of town, and need to drive 1000 miles home asap. I'm thinking I will replace the likely suspects instead of limping home.

UPDATE:
Replaced Water Pump, Thermostat, Serpentine Belt, and flushed coolant
Still had heat problems.
Decided to replace Coolant Temperature Sensor even though there was no evidence it was an issue, problem solved, running at 210 uphill with AC maxed.
Thank you for your help
