2015 traverse fan and thermostat
I have a 2015 Chevy Traverse with 75k miles. Today the engine light comes on and the thermostat won't work and the fan constantly stays running even after the car is off. I still should be covered under my powertran warranty but I don't know if they'll even fix it. I keep up with the maintance and it's driving fine. Please help!!

describe the symptoms
what symptom makes you thing the thermostat is faulty...the fan running all the time? It will run all the time if the pcm detects a fault with the coolant temp sensor. find out the code and post it.

My 2015 Traverse just started doing this as well. The engine light is on and the fan keeps running after I shut the car off. I watched my temp gauge and it never went up on the ride home from work which is about 35 to 45 minutes on interstate and main highways. I would think if it were overheating it would surely do it on the way home and show up on the thermostat. I haven't taken it in to be looked at yet. Any idea what causes this?
