Default 2025 Traverse Electrical issues

I purchased a new Traverse on Jan 11th late in the evening. On the way home, the supercruise did not work and the lights on the mirrors would not turn off. I brought it in the next day thinking it would be a quick fix. Turns out there is a mystery problem with the Can Bus 8 that nobody can figure out. TAC case opened, and the dealer is still guessing. Now it is Feb 17th and the dealer still has the car that we put less than 30 miles on . The Dealer is frustrated as well, they have multiple man hours on this with no results, very frustrating! We have called the Chevy 800 number and got a middleman who knows next to nothing, they just go off a script and call the dealer, asking them what they have done. When I asked for her supervisor, she said "we don't have any people who are customer facing" and that I need to go through the dealer. This has proven fruitless. Does anybody know how to get someone from Chevy that IS customer facing?? I really just want a car that I can drive?

Did you call Chevrolet Customer Service 800-222-1020? If they don't help file a Lemon Law. Call a lawyer that specializes in lemon law in your state if you need help doing so.

Old Chevy, Yes I did. That is the person who told me that Chevrolet "had no customer facing people that could help me". They referred me back to the dealer, who said they couldn't order me one that works because they had no allocation. In addition, they were waiting for Chevy to get back with them on suggestion on how to fix. As of today 2/25/2025 I still have no car and no answers. When I asked about reimbursement since we traded in our paid off vehicle, and are making payments on a vehicle that is still in the shop, we were told we will evaluate that once the vehicle is fixed. The really SAD part is, if they just told me we can get you a new car in 4 months I would have been happy.

This is scary. I purchased a new 2025 Traverse on 2/10/25 and within a couple days noticed the alert for front tire pressure kept going on and off.
Brought the car to the dealer who thought it was the tire sensors so replaced one. Issue continued so I brought it back and after having it a day they think it's a bad ethernet cable. They rush ordered another cable which took an entire day to arrive. It's 3:30 pm and he's started work on it but it's "uncharted territory" so they told me it would be ready tomorrow. Fingers crossed this is really the issue and that they can figure out how to install it successfully. All of this is at no charge and they gave me a loaner so all good. But I have 2 dog crates in my car which I need for transporting my dogs on Friday and Saturday so I need, need my car back by end of day tomorrow. Not sure how confident I am that this is really the issue and that they will get it done tomorrow......good luck with your situation.

Have you asked them if they can get you a new car from another dealer?? They should be able to trade something they have in stock for a car on another dealer's lot if there is a car that fits what you want. They should at least try to do that for you. Boy this is frustrating....

I did, unfortunately they were the only place that dah the trim/color that we wanted, so we bought it right away. The dealer has been unable to trade for another one. I started the Lemon Law process, but have not signed the engagement letter yet. As I was getting documentation from the Dealer packet for a Lemon Law Lawyer, I noticed they listed the owners email. I figure I would, as a courtesy, let her know the situation, and how Chevy has failed them by not even acknowledging my problem. Maybe she has connections at Chevy that can help out before I get legal involved.

**side note** Chevy "customer service called me today2/26 to tell me they were in contact with the dealer and were still trying to figure it out, and that Chevy still had not decided if they would buy it back. I also got out of her that they were contracted by Chevy to act as Customer Service, but had no authority........
