A couple of months ago I was traveling to Alabama and this message came up " Service Battery Charging System". My husband and I pulled into AutoZone and the guy came out and checked the battery and the alternator and there was nothing wrong. We also pulled into O'Reilly's just to get a second opinion and the same thing...battery was good and also the alternator. What else could be causing the issue? Should I take it to the dealer?

 

A loose/bad connection somewhere in the charging system.
