Angry Bluetooth

Bluetooth on my new 2020 Traverse not compatible with my Sanyo flip phone...not happy about this...I traded in a 2019 GMC Acadia Denali and had no issues with Bluetooth connection! Now what...even Chevrolet dealer Tech Specialist tried...told me to change to different phone...this is not what I bought in to!!

How old is your phone? Wife has a Sanyo Katana LX from the dawn of time. No problem connecting with our 2019 Traverse Bluetooth. I thought all the upgraded Bluetooth versions were backward compatible. On our Traverse, if I get to the car first with my Galaxy S8, it "captures" the Bluetooth connection, and her Sanyo won't connect unless I disconnect my phone. Seems the Traverse will only work with one phone at a time. Could this be your issue?

Default flip phone / bluetooth not compatible with 2020 Traverse..

My Sanyo flip phone WAS NOT on list of Chevrolet compatible model/make...had to give it up for new Samsung Galaxy...much more than I need...but only way to have bluetooth...strange though..it workd great with the 2019 GMC Acadia I traded in!

I didn't realize you were venting about your Sanyo not working. I didn't have a lot of faith in the compatibility list since it said my S8 wasn't compatible nor my wife's Sanyo, and both work without any problems. It can be aggravating to have to buy a new phone just to work with your new vehicle as if you haven't spent enough already.
