A few days ago, while backing up with the Traverse (2011) the back up assisting alarm (beep) was activated even though no obstacle where behind. It keept beeping even when driving! I had to stop the car and restarted,


Then I woke up this morning with a dead battery; door unlock wasn't working, no lights, no radio, try to start, no answer and finally, the car key is jammed in the ingnition!!!


Check battery voltage: 5.3 V


Are those anomalies related?

Welcome to the forum...
It would be my guess they are related, once you get the battery replaced you will know for sure...
Please do follow up with what you find once the battery is replaced and we can go from there...
