Thumbs down Heated seats - NOT

I took my brand new Traverse into the dealership because I don't feel that the heated seats actually get warm. They said they tested it and it got up to 87 degrees and work as designed. Is this true? The loaner they gave me has real heated seats. My hubby's Silverado has heated seats as did my prior jeep. I have a bad back and heated seats is a must. Is this just how it is?

Check the temp on the loaner if you have it as well as hubby's - 87 is less than body temp so sounds too low to me. I will try and remember to check our Tahoe seats. I would put a thermometer on the seat, cover with a towel or blanket to measure. Report back!

I didn't record the temp of the loaner. The service person agreed that the seats don't get as warm as other vehicles. He gave me an 800 number that I'm sure will fall on deaf ears but I will call.
