Opinion of the Traverse
#21
Ok, Just picked up my new 2010 Traverse LTZ today. Traded in the 1999 Dodge Durango with 100,000 miles. I've got to say, I love it and it rides great. Lots of bells and whistles to learn.

We just bought a 2010 Traverse 2LT. Leather seats, bose stereo, sun roofs, step rails, tow package, etc etc etc.
Had it for three days. So far I absolutely LOVE it! Always been a chevy guy, but never really found an SUV I liked til now. Had a Malibu before this. While I loved the malibu, I really think this car is a big step up, and works a lot better for a family. No way I'd ever be caught driving a minivan, but this is perfect for me. Wish it was a bit cheaper, but totally worth it so far.
We'll see if my opinion of that changes once my payments start ;-)

Traded in my 2007 Tahoe for a 2011 Traverse, family of 6, we fit in the Traverse better then we did in the Tahoe due to the extra leg room in the 3rd row.
Sporty and sharp looking vehicle.
Very happy with it, we loose some of the storage room for long trips from the Tahoe, but over all very comfortable and smooth ride.
It was hard to trade in the Tahoe, but was worth the extra fuel savings and we had 75k and wanted a new vehicle.

We have a 2010 Traverse and I never had a car I disliked more. Don't buy one. We also have a 1999 Tahoe. I'd rather take the Tahoe on a trip any day. What happened when they made the seats?? Very limited amount of adjustment in passenger seat. I love my Tahoe passenger seat...can ajust it just like I want to. Traverse seat is cheap and hard and I feel like I am continuously sliding down forward...not comfortable when you travel. I've tried pillows, seat cushions..doesn't happen. Traverse is a cheap model. Guess it is a sign of the times..cutbacks...but, GM don't make the price so high for a cheaper made vehicle. By the way, my husband's first car was a 1956 Chev and we still have a 1976 Chev Silverado truck (he loves it). We have always been true blue to Chevys but have been very disappointed in the Traverse.

The wife picked up a very low mile 2009 Traverse LT(?) AWD about 9 months ago. Massive improvement over the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica she had. It handles well and has plenty of giddyup! We have been very pleased with this vehicle in every aspect.

Love the LTZ Package!
Traded in the 2011 Traverse LT, now have a 2014 LTZ Fully Loaded, kids love the Entertainment package and the new body style is awesome.
Taking awhile to get used to all the new features and the duel Moon Roofs are nice.
Very Quiet and smooth and comfortable.
