Default Traverse with MANUAL tailgate-too hard to open!

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. The little rubber button on the underside of the liftgate is extremely difficult to push and is impossible to do with gloves on. Anyone else having this problem? Any hacks out there?

No, that is the problem. The liftgate on this model is entirely manual. I have a feeling it is extremely unusual not to have an electric liftgate.

I thought you said it was a "button". That would make it electric. So you mean it's a mechanical handle?

Ah, yes, that would make it electric, but it must be activated by hand every time. No remote opener. Like I said, the button is on the underside of the liftgate and is very small. I wish it was a handle, that I could at least grasp onto.

But, you made me think, is it possible to ADD a remote that would activate it? The dealer who sold it to me said they didn't think so, but you know how dealers are...

Most of the people that work there are totally ignorant of their product. They only care about selling them, not servicing them.
