Hello all. I just installed an oem factory nav radio in my traverse ls. It did not have the brown plug behind the radio, but the radio was supplied with one. I need to find the vss wire since it is not in that plug. I saw on other forums that the wire was in the loom coming out of the boot in the firewall behind the brake pedal. I looked there and there is no green/white wire in there... SO now where do I look??

 

if you don't have the option codes UUM or UVB or U4H the wire won't be in the cavity of the connector.

if you do have the option codes; the wire originates from the ebcm pin 11 from the black 38 pin connector. Trace the ebcm loom into the passenger compartment. the ebcm is located on the left shock tower next/below the brake fluid reservoir.

 

ok I will check tomorrow. If I do not have those codes DO I have to tap into it near the main computer but the hood release??
