Default Where do I get ignition powered 12V from the passenger side electrical box

I am running a radar detector hard-wire and would like ignition power 12V and not always on. Which fuse or power supply can I use. Right now I am using the seat heating/cooling power source - but it seems to be always on.

I read a forum where a member installed a Parrot bluetooth kit-
I believe he ran a power wire to the fuse box under the hood- as theres an extra powered fuse there-- whose power also goes out after 10 min.

Would not suggest tieing into ignition wires at ignition harness. Those are low voltage/amperage. There is a switched (RAP) circiut at BCM.

a radar detector is low voltage also. probably be ok to tie it into where the ignition wire goes up to the ignition under the steering column.

someone sells a wire that allows you to plug into the power in the rear view mirror...
if you have onstar/camera etc... you can plug in directly here....

here you go...
