What makes a 2010 not take a jump start and lock the key in the ignition.

 

Check the jumper cables, and please be a little more specific.

 

if the battery has a bad cell it won't jump. have the battery tested.

 

I jumped started last week it would run about twenty minutes then cut off when I tried to turn the key all the way forward and take it out it wouldn’t come out so I waited till Friday to jump it off again but when I did it didn’t seem to be charging up and I can’t remove the keys

 

If you're having to jump start it, I'd look at the battery for a starting point.
