Default 2017 Trax Blower Motor Wiring Testing

My daughter has a 2017 Trax.
Blower Motor stopped working.
Changed resistor.
Noticed burns at working harness to resistor connector.
There are 5 wires. 2 had light brown burn marks.

Did not replace due to time and light.

Blower Motor worked daily for 2 weeks but me, wanting it not to burn out again, decided to replace that wire harness to resistor. After replacing the blower did not work with key on but engine off.
I turned engine on and the blower motor came on for less than a minute and hasn't worked since. It's been a week.

Not a good mechanic.
But got harness from dealer.
Crimped butt end connectors at home.
And cut wires off of old connection and crimped it all together in the same order under glove box. Not confident in my crimping but all connectors were rugged and appear tight. Not sure about the insides. Does wire insulation affect the current inside connectors?

I saw a video which showed a guy tested each wire hole at harness end. Not sure if it was a Trax. Can't find the video.
Does anybody have a clip and what the readings should be for each wire at harness end connector?
Not an electrician nor a mechanic.

I also saw a video of a guy with a Ford which didn't just have one of these harness to resistor connectors. He had 2 or 3 between battery and resistor connection. One at resistor. One behind glove box. And another between battery and glove box.
How many of these harness connections are in the Trax, from battery to resistor?

Thank you for taking time to read.

AutoZone guy said maybe I blew a fuse since I didn't disconnect battery.
I only see one fuse next to steering wheel plus a relay. I replaced relay because I lost it working at night. The fuse works. I checked all fuses under hood.

If you disconnect the battery do you disconnect just positive or both?
And must the AntiTheft system or computer need to be reset if you disconnect the battery?

Owners manual says there is another HVAC fuse next to steering wheel but card holder diagram says that spot is for a spare.
If I put one in there I wonder what fuse I should use? 7.5,10,20,or what?

Seems like I have all wires to harness crimped right.
still nothing at any fan speed.

I push A/C and defrost buttons and no light comes on.
Wondering if there's a fuse I missed. I checked 40 relay/fuse (amps?) under hood. Was good. Checked 10 HVAC fuse next to steering wheel.
replaced blower motor relay there also.
Unless they blew after trying it out.
I would think the lights would come on for A/C and defrost buttons even without fan working.
Idk.
