Default burning oil

Occasionally, when the 2016 Trax has been sitting outdoors in 0° weather, I start it up and there's the smell of burning oil, and blue smoke comes from tail pipe. After driving a mile or so, everything's fine - no smell, no smoke. Then it won't happen again for a few months.
I've had it to a Chevy dealer service center, a Meineke, and a privately owned mechanic, and no one can find a problem. Any ideas? Thanx!
Oh, I'm retired, don't drive much anymore, there's 27000 miles on it, got it new, Jan 2016.

Welcome from Miami Florida where it is cool today at 74 degrees. Is the oil level going down? If the oil level is staying good, I would not worry about it unless it gets much worse.

Greetings from New Hamster, where it's not as cold as Minnesota!!
Thanx for the quick reply...no, oil level is not going down, and it doesn't happen often. I was just concerned there was some kind of valve leak or something.
Thanx for putting me at ease!!

Cold valve seals would be my input.
