Just bought a 2020 Trax LS. Is the gear indicator, (shifter), supposed to have a light so you can see what gear you're in? When questioned the salesman said no. The gear your in shows on the dash. Well, I've never had a vehicle that didn't have a light to show you what gear you're engaging. And, my last two Chevys, a 2014 Cruze and a 2016 Malibu also had the gear you were in show on the dash also. Is he full of it, or you don't get a light on the LS?

 

First mistake was even asking the salesman.
