Default Heater in 2018 Trax

We bought my wife a used 2018 Trax earlier this year and she had me feel the heat coming from the vents because they don’t seem to switch between defrost, front vents or feet. It feels like every vent is open because I feel air coming out every vent no matter what position I choose. Anyone know what may be causing this before I have to take it in? If it’s an easy fix I’d rather do it myself.

Sounds like it could be the mode actuator is bad or the mode door is broken. Not familiar with the Trax but it is under the dash.

I'm guessing you don't have a factory warranty.. I tell people all the time. Don't go over the milage before the time runs out on the warranties. If you're going to you have to buy a extended warranty. I'm sorry that happened to you. I use my car as direct by the warranty. Warranty says only 12,000 a year. Then I follow it to the letter. Never wistfully drive. (((((Sounds like a blown fuse)))))) check your fuse box. Once a month you should always check tire pressure, fluids, buttons, levers, electronic, fuses and more. It has a turbo. I hope you're checking your oil daily. It naturally burns oil.
