When I bought my 2017 Trax it is the LT model very basic and somewhat vanilla. I would like to know if I can down load music on my windows computer on a memory stick and then play it through my sound system in my Trax and also what type stick I need to purchase to do this.

 

Hi John. I have a 15 trax. My owner's manual shows infotainment information in chapter 7. I have an iTunes library that uses mp4 as default code. I bought a thumb drive and am using a 32 GB card. mp4 is not compatible with my '15, but mp3 is (and a few others). I converted my library (about 130 songs) to mp3, deleted the mp4 version, copied to thumb drive card and it works. I have a myLink touch screen. at the audio page, i select source, then usb. you can turn shuffle on and off, and play all on and off. when I remove and re insert the drive, the unit starts with the 1st tune and shuffle is off.
