Just an FYI, for 2006 model Uplander, replacing the EVAP Purge Solenoid can be done without having to drop the fuel tank. If enough people inquire, I will post my experience including pics and directions.

It was a simple installation, yet slightly frustrating in many ways.

 

I have a 2007 Uplander and am quite interested in the solenoid replacement proceedure.

Closely related is the gas cap. Try wrap with saran wrap to clear suspicions. I had a new cap that caused confusion. I wrapped over it and code 0455 is gone.
I will buy a genuine cap.
Bummer.

 

Had fuel pump replaced still having check gas cap I replaced that I replaced relay still not riding well

 

Im also interested in doing this...did the author (ubZ71) post the procedures or he needed more people to ask...
