On a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander can you simply replace the powertrain control module or does it have to be programed first - which means the dealer? I can find the part for about $200.00 but is it ready to go on or does it have to be programed to do any good. (The service engine light is on and the code reader says the problem is the PCM)
