2009 Uplander noisy exhaust

2009 Uplander noisy exhaust
I wonder how long a stainless steel muffler and resonator should last? My exhaust sound like a Pontiac Grand Prix at the back now since last fall. There is no sign of leakage and the outside of the system has no rust and holes. The exhaust is air tight all over. my millage is under 50,000 miles. I presume that some internal chambers inside the muffler are rusted. Anyone in the same boat?

Mine has a bit of a growl too but I wouldn't think of replacing it. It should last the life of the van.
That said, my brother lives on a dirt road just south of North Bay and the SS muffler rusted out on his Impala. Horrible stuff they spray on the roads up there
