I'm having the same problem. I also removed the battery a few months ago. I will be tightening those bolts!

Cheers, Inari

Tightening the bolts worked! No more clunking on front passenger side.

oh how I wish mine were that simple. I started to get excited thinking I found someone with the same issues.. Well, they're the same symptoms but mines the cv. I replaced all of the mounts. Still had clunking. When I turn it feels & sounds like the whole motor is shifting back & forth. So, I went to replace the front hubs. Nothing wrong with those. Sent those back. I did notice that the control arm bushing looked bad. So I replaced that. Was good for about 10 min. I also noticed a LOT of play in the cv shaft. So, thats my next self taught project. I'm a fresh newbie (female even), fully working on my van myself because I'm tired of people messing up my stuff. So if anyone has any words of encouragement or advice, I'd appreciate it.

yep. I'm doing that now. Just came to find out about the ring that sits between the seal & the axle. Not one video showed it and I kinda bent the heck out of it trying to get the seal out. From what I've seen, everyone has that issue & I can just straighten it out & reuse it. Lol. I'm basically teaching myself how to do all this with the help of YouTube videos & this forum. All the tips & tricks are so helpful.
