Im trying to replace the theromstat on my uplander but i cant seem to find it. Does anyone know where i can find FREE diagrams showing me where it is?

 

Go to AutoZone | Auto Parts & Accessories | Repair Guides & More - they have free repair guides for many vehicles. You may have to register but its also free. They're not the best ones but they are free. I checked and the instructions for the thermostat are there for the 3.5 and 3.9 - they are listed under "2007 Chevrolet truck Uplander"

Good Luck - I've found that there are few simple jobs that become more annoying than doing a thermostat or water pump...take your time and make sure your gasket goes in straight and that you don't tighten anything too crazy tight since you're working with an aluminum motor. And don't be afraid to overfill it a bit when you refill it since you'll want to make sure you displace all of the air that you're going to introduce into the system.
