Default Gas Mileage

I wonder how close my mileage is to the average 2008 Uplander's. I filled up and drove 329.4 miles, half highway, half city streets and got 16.9 miles per gallon. What do you average?

Our 08 is typically in the same neighborhood...Gets up into the 20s on long highways runs...

My '08 Uplander is consistently getting 25-26 mpg combined city and highway.
I found that the key is setting the cruise control and keeping my foot off the accelerator as much as possible.

I average around 17-18 around town and I'm pretty hard on my van on each day, having a performance engine and transmission tune on my '08 Cargo.

From what I've observed, the key as stated is using cruise control as often as possible especially on highway runs and keeping revs below 2000 (which is impossible for me due to the nature of the tranny tune).

Also keeping speeds below 70 (also not easy in certain areas) with cruise is good for an extra few mpg on the highway. My city and highway vary wildly depending on my driving habits, usually between 350-425 miles to the tank.
