Default noise from rear

From last week, my van started making some noise from the rear, when you go over bumps you can hear something like metal click sounds.

Went under the truck and searched, could not locate any thing.

Anyone has same experience?

Check your spare. Make sure its securely fastened. Check your rear shocks. something is lose, need to have some one ride in back to track it down...

we have a 09 and when we run over expansion cracks large enough the rear suspension is noisy. I checked all over under and did not find anything wrong. I tought it came from the tailgate first but I dont find anything wrong with it. When I load the rear with materials the noise seems less evident. Remember that a van gets more drumming noise than a car because it act like a boom box while a car has a trunk that isolate the noise from the rear suspension and muffler noise. The suspension on the rear is quite stiff on the uplander and I think it cannot absord the hard bumps smootly as the front suspension. I gess we will have to live with this inconvenience. Also I find in cold winter months the noise is even more loud. Beside this I like my van a lot.

Capucine, I would have to suggest that you take your vehicle in to your local dealer. You've got a 2009 which should easily still be under warranty. They should be best able to address this issue for you.

fixed by myself.

Actually it was the park brake cable loose and the rubber donut which holds it is worn, and the metal part hit the axle.
