Trailer Wiring
I just wired my 06 Uplander. All the wiring you need should be behind the rear corner panel on the drivers side. Green is right turn, yellow left, brown is running lights and the black is ground. It is pretty simple for a basic flat four hook-up. I am searching for the wire I need to hook into to run my brake controller off the brake switch on the van.
I have the same problem on a 2008, Three wires on the brake switch, but this doesn't look to be a switch but a position sensor.
On the center wire (yellow) I have 2~3Volts, if you push the pedal the voltage increases the more the pedal is pushed.

I had the same question. I sent an email to Tekonsha support service and they promptly replied with the following :
Thank you for contacting Technical Support. In response to your email, you can splice the red wire into the Body Control Module at pin location # 30. The Body Control Module is located on the left side of the dash roughly located above your left knee. The wire color you would splice into is colored “White”. I have also attached a technical bulletin that has pictures in the event you are unsure which wire to go to. If you have any questions or need further assistance feel free to contact us at (888) 785-5832.
