Transmission 1 to 2 seconds slow slip then kick
Hi guys. My van has 160k miles. Good synthetic ATF, full.
Seems like when the van warms up, starting from stop, pressing the pedal the van starts moving, then RPMs rise without van going faster like a slip, then it kicks into 2 gear and drives/shifts just fine after that. So something is up, shifting from 1 to 2. Do you think it’s the pressure or shift solenoid? It doesn’t always do it, 1/2 the time it doesn’t slip and shifts good especially when starting out cold. Thanks
