if its drive by wire (no throttle cable) it does not use an iac motor. idle is controlled by the electronic throttle motor

How many miles on the van? Is the CEL on?
Have you cleaned the throttle-body?
Are the spark plugs and wires original?
Are there any codes stored?
Does it idle rough in gear and in neutral?

Papa Bear,

The van got 160K+ already...Yes the CEL is on..
The spark wires and pugs are replaced already... the TPS was cleaned...and still rough idling. If I press the pedal to the floor while I turn on the ignition key, there is ignition but will not continue when you release the pedal. But when no foot on the pedal and ignition is started it will continue and but it's idling rough.

thanks,

That's what I mean - the throttle body. That's what I did, but to no avail...
