Default uplander body control module

Just purchased a 2007 uplander LT that has REMOTE START READY built into it. My remote fobs do not have the start button but the circut board inside DOES have the start spot and it does work to the point that the message center reads REMOTE STSRT DISABLED. I know there is a kit with fobs and a program code that must be downloaded with tech2. The kit is now obsolete. (told this by three dealers). My question, can a used BCM with all the same equipment that my vehicle has that already has been downloaded with the remote start program be swapped into my vehicle. I would pefer to have factory rather than aftermarket. Thanks.

Default remote start

The remote start accessory kit only has replacement key fobs, hood latch (which has the necessary hood ajar switch) and necessary underhood warning stickers. The remote start option is enabled by using the tech 2.

Changing the BCM will not work as it has to be paired to the vehicle, with the option broadcast codes, VIN, and vehicle mileage.
