Uplander LT Load leveling rear shocks ?

Rear shocks stuck in maxed out position, hauled some wood pellet bags and they never reset afterwards, like riding a bucking bull now. Any Ideas as to why the auto load leveling didn't re-adjust the air ride rear suspension or how to go about fixing it ?

Mine was doing the same thing. When hauling a bit of weight, the shocks would stick at the top. Eventually would release, but would bang loudly until they did. GM dealer finally figured out the shocks were shot. They replaced them under warranty, I had been complaining for quite a while.
