1999 Ventrue Alternator Changed?

I have a 99 Venture that I just changed the alternator on (had a test tell me it was bad)tested new one before I put it in, the batt light is still on and it is not charging? I am at my witts end, anyone have any idea which way to go and what to test? I did switch the relays to make sure that was not the issue.
I really do not know where to go from here.

I forgot the Batt light

I forgot the Batt light comes on and goes off and then comes on and stays on?

Check all the wires and cables to the alternator and to the battery. Check them at both ends for looseness and corrosion.

charging issues

Im having the same issues with my 2000 xhevy venture. Went through 3 different alternators, none are charging and batt light stays on and batt drains.
