Default 2000 3.4 wont take throttle boggs down!

Hi my 3.4 stutters or boggs down when i give it more than 1/4 throttle in park or on the road. Can barely go 45. I've been looking at alot of forums and discussions on this. I have checked everything possible except I dont have the proper electrical scanning or reading tools to completly do it. But any ways when it warms up it starts dong this. So i unplugged the mass air flow sensor and it runs great now. Should I just clean it and does this actualy mean that only the maf is bad or is there some kind of chain reaction Im not aware of lol

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately I wish you wouldn't do that. With the MAF sensor disconnected, the emission control would default to some preprogrammed parameters. That's a good way to ruin catalytic converters and possibly exhaust valves.
