There is a high pitch tone coming from the passenger side of my chevy venture when taking off. Or when I am Driving at asteady speed. If turn the wheel slightly it goes away for awhile then comes back. If anybody has this problem help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I had a similar problem, (of course it depends on the type of noise), but in my case it was the seal in the wheal bearing assembly, the seals dry out and squeal, not a safety issue aparently just anoying..... Could be the wear bar on your brake pads. best have it inspected to be safe.............

 

Thanks for the info It is an intermintent problem. Brakes are good. Doyou think it might be the cv joint?
