Default 2003 Venture Dying While Driving

Okay, I retrieved my van from the mechanic and have put 170+ miles on it so far without a problem. I'm still waiting for the other boot to drop, so to speak, but so far, all is going well. The mechanic put a couple more sensors on it and told me to drive it for a while to see if this did or did not solve my problem. I'm hoping it did. When I am satisfied, then he will give me the bill. He's a very fair mechanic. I might add that I have also followed his advise of filling the gas tank up with premium gasoline after putting in an entire pint bottle of Sea Foam. I know I did this for my 2013 Ford Taurus last week before taking a 300 mile trip to MS and back and I'm getting about 29.2 mpg. I have been averaging 26.6 to 27.1 mpg. The van is starting and driving like a brand new vechicle. If it does pull one of those stops on me, I'll let you know . When I put about 250-300 miles on it without one, I'll also let you know. When I pay the mechanic for his work, I'll let you know what those two sensors were that healed it.

The mechanic said the code was for a TPS Sensor which he installed. He told me to drive it to see if all would go well. I put about 40 miles on it and the "Check Engine Soon" light came on. However, it did not die. I took it to the mechanic and he said it was the same code. He turned the warning light off and I drove it another 80 miles and it came back on. Again, I took it to the mechanic and it gave the same code. However, the motor did not die. So, he told me to keep driving it until it stopped, then he would check out the code to see if it was more specific. I'm not sure what else needs to be switched out. It starts easily, motor runs smooth, transmission shifts well, so I'm not sure what is going on which makes the "Check Engine Soon" light come on. I've got 226,111 on the van.
