Front turn signal/parking lamp assembly

Front turn signal/parking lamp assembly
I have a Chevy Venture 2003. The daylight running lamp is burned out and I want to replace it. The owner's manual says to unscrew the thumbscrew and pull the assembly away from the vehicle.
Did that, but the assembly seems to be hanging on something.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Front turn signal/parking lamp assembly
Once you remove the thumbscrew the lens has a tab at the bottom of the lens on the headlight side of the lens which has a metal clip on it which inserts to a holder to secure that portion of the lens. Pull out on the headlight side of the lens to unclip the clip. On the fender side there are 2 plastic prongs which are inserted into 2 holes to align and to secure the lens on the fender side of the lens. hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I got the daylight running lamp lens out and changed the bulb per your instructions.
Now I find that the metal clip is missing and I now I have a new challenge, finding a replacement clip. LoL

It should all go back together without the clip. The first time I changed the bulb on my 2000 Venture the plastic post that the clip is mounted to busted. I put it back together and once I tightened the thumb screw you couldn't even notice.
