Have a friend that hit a piece of angle iron in the freeway. Caused a puncture in the the gas tank. It looks as though gas tanks for that year model are scarce as hen's teeth.
The repair facility that she chose has been looking around for a replacement, but can't find anything nearby. Are they just not making tanks for that year anymore? Any ideas?
Any information would be appreciated.

 

They may have been discontinued, but you can do a search for gm 10345684 . This was the 20 gallon tank, I think there was also a 25 gallon tank, you'd have to know which size is needed. Otherwise, instead of spending $400, I'd be looking at a wrecking yard for a used one.

 

Pick and Pull Wreaking yards have a lot Ventures. But the gas tanks might have a small for draining them. Just google Row 52 to see if they have any near you. Prices are about $40.
