My cup holder is stupid and I need a workaround
I don’t believe that when Chevrolet made the venture, they designed a cup holder that pull out and then down if you put too much force on them. Am I right about that, because my cupholder would come out but if I put something in there that was heavy. The whole cupholder would just slant downward enough to spill some of my drink onto the floor.
I removed it because the auxiliary outlet is jiggling and blowing fuses every time I plug something in. Obviously, you have to remove that first. So I have two requests. The first is what do I do about a cupholder that doesn’t fall down like that are there aftermarket ones?
Secondly , I’d like to share with you my experience of frustration as to why this car didn’t come with a console in between the two front seats or anything that’s within an arms reach of the driver for storage. If I want something out of the glove box, good luck, pal I’ll probably get into an accident because whatever I need, it’s always 3 inches or less out of reach.
so I’m looking for a hack to get around the storage issues, the cupholder, and also this is going to be included in a different thread that I create a light bar that has I don’t know more than 10 lm shining outward through the oxidize plastic coverings over the front headlight. OK, I’ve ranted enough. Any help is appreciated, thanks

The cupholder may have a cracked slide or some damage to the mechanism. Your model may not have come with a console. Check the junk yards and you may find a console for your model or one that is close enough to fit. They do make universal consoles. Amazon has them with pictures, so myou can pick one.
I have not seen any of these vans (Chevy Venture, Pontiac Montana, Oldsmobile Silhouette) having a factory center console. Not floor mounted at any rate, I know you're not interested in a ceiling console. Not even the sporty Silhouette OSV (Oldsmobile Special Vehicle) had one. I asked around here earlier but got no replies.
As for cloudy headlights, new ones are just an amazon click away. First thing I did for my vans.
